Blogger comment window

Does anyone have a problem with Blogger only opening a dinky comment window with no means of expanding it, so that you can't post comments because you can't see all the word verification or most of your comment? Scrolling doesn't work. I seem to have that problem with my home mac and haven't been able to find a work around. Have any of you? Thanks, in advance.

Does that happen on all blogger comment windows? For me, yours opens as an entire webpage, with a paragraph-sized comment area, and existing comments to the left. I've seen some, I think with different settings in blogger, that open as small boxes, like Geotripper's. I think his settings are different. You could check your settings - layout, comments, full page - but yours already look that way to me.

So maybe there's some other browser setting. Sorry to be of zero help!

My Mac (OS X & Firefox) agrees with Silver Fox.

PS: And scrolling the comment box works.

It only happens when I try to leave comments on some other blogger blogs, but not all. Mine is set to go to a new page, as is yours, and as was Kim's when she was on blogger. I was trying to leave a comment on Accidental Remediation, and I get this tiny window which I can't enlarge or otherwise manipulate that only shows part of the comment window. I can't scroll or otherwise move around in the window, either. Mac OS X and Firefox, as well. I only occasionally come across this problem, and only in blogger blogs

I just checked on Accidental Remediation, and encountered none of the problems you mentioned. I am aware that this is of no help, but thought I would let you know anyhow.

Accidental Remediation has one of those small pop-up comment windows like at Geotripper, in which you can't see all the page at once, but I can use the scroll bar on the right.

One thing you might try, I can force the comment window to open in a separte browser page - which is Ctrl-Click on IE7 - maybe there is some option like that on your mac/browser.

I had the same problem with another blog on blogger.com, using Firefox on Linux. While there was no scroll bar that let me scroll down to the verification entry or submit button, I was able to TAB through the inputs and this brought the in-focus input into the teeny tiny box so I could enter the verification word and click the submit button.

Hi ,

Great information!!! It is really interesting to read your article. We love our windows because they let in the light and give us a view of the outside world but we don’t enjoy our windows quite so much if they are cold and drafty. If this sounds like your home, could be you need to check with a knowledgeable Atlanta window installation company. Windows do wear out, which can make them very inadequate at doing their job. Old style wooden windows are especially notorious for their poor insulating ability. The panes become loose once the glazing dries out and windows need re-glazing every few years. The change of seasons can mean climbing a ladder to install the storm windows or replace them with screen.

Thanks
